An Artist and Documentary Videographer, she has served on the American Folk Art Museum Advisory Board for four years. The Board created the education high school curriculum guide to the museum’s collection. In addition, Ms. Saft produced the documentary Shared Ground, that recounted the history of the Shinnecock Indians of Long Island. Shared Ground won Best Documentary at the Suffolk County Film Festival. For the last nine years, Ms. Saft has taught art history, painting, and three-dimensional design to high school students.
