All books must be in good to excellent condition as we retain the right to refuse books that are less then near mint condition.
Book donations should be made between 11 & 3, Saturday. For large donations, please call ahead of time.
No donations during inclement weather year-round. No donations January, February, and March.

Note: Antiquarian books are accepted upon condition.
Donation Criteria:
- No encyclopedias, medical, dated financial, science, legal texts
- No textbooks (elementary, middle, high school, college level)
- No current magazines, National Geographic
- No newspapers, tabloids, periodicals, journals
- No damaged books including:
- Brittle books, stiffened books worn & torn or warped covers
- Broken bindings, cracked spines, hinge problems (loose, detached, torn)
- Dog-earing, fading, foxing, water damage
- Insect infestation (booklice, beetles, moths, silverfish, mice)
- Mold or mildew (basement, attic or garage), red rot
- Pages missing, torn, loose
- Pet/animal damage, smell from cigarette smoke
- Paperbacks worn & torn, curling covers, taped (home repair)
- No library books, condensed books, dated adult or children’s series books
- No DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, cassettes, VHS
- Donations larger than 15-20 books must be delivered in milk crates or cardboard boxes
- ALL BOOKS MUST BE DELIVERED; WE DO NOT PICK UP
For books we do not accept, consider: taking them to a senior center, prison, thrift store, homeless shelter, take them to a paper recycling center or use your curbside recycling.
We greatly appreciate your current reads.
Book donations of all kinds are gratefully accepted as well as donations of library related objects including paperweights, globes, bookends and book stands.
